Woven Ribbon Dress Instructions (with pattern) sizes 2, 4, 6, &

Pattern included is for sizes 2, 4, 6, & 8. However, you can use the method for any pattern that you may want to use that has a separate bodice from the skirt. I started making these dresses and playing with variations after I was in a chain department store and saw these adorable dresses with ribbon bodices. I thought to myself, “Why buy this for $45 when I can probably make it?” I had never sewn anything from a pattern before this. I bought a name-brand infant dress pattern and started playing. I actually went to a sewing shop that helped me with construction of the garment when I couldn’t do anymore. Of course I didn’t pick a beginner pattern as my dreams were high! I bought one with buttons and a collar! That was really funny! My daughter had outgrown it by the time it was close to being finished. To this day I haven’t put the buttons or button holes in it! But I learned the basics of sewing and got more experience with garment making. I then saw a dress for my daughter while on a cruise to the Caribbean that tied in the back – perfect for this dress!! After this I have made many, many dresses with woven ribbon bodices. I hope you all enjoy this E-Book.
